Pemenuhan Ruang Terbuka Hijau oleh Pemerintah Ponorogo

Law No. 26 of 2007 about Spatial Planning article states that Green Open Space, is an elongated area or path and or grouping, the use of which is more open, a place to grow plants, both those that grow naturally and intentionally planted. The purpose of this study was to determine the Ponorogo government's commitment in providing Green Open Space. This research, uses descriptive qualitative research. This research is intended to obtain descriptive data in the form of words or spoken from someone and behavior that can be observed by researchers. Measurement of commitment using the Effective Environmental Governance Theory which includes Awareness, Coordination, Empowerment, and Enforcement. The government of Ponorogo through the Department of the Environment does its work in providing green open space. The commitment of the Office of the Environment in an effort to meet the Awareness aspect can be seen from the government of Ponorogo that has provided RTH in accordance with the rules contained in Law no. 26 of 2007 on Spatial Planning, that each Regency / City is required to provide 20% of its area as a public Green Open Space. To fulfill the Coordination aspect, the Office of the Environment conducts a lot of cross- sectoral collaboration. In fulfilling the Empowerment aspect, the Office of the Environment involved the public. The efforts of the Environmental Service in fulfilling the Enforcement aspect can be proven by the existence of other regulations governing green space, namely Regional Regulation of Ponorogo Regency number 5 of 2011
