Abstract

Area Development; Village; Potential and Threats; The rural area is an area that can be optimized for various activities, which can improve the economic level that leads to the welfare of the community. the model that can be done in area development is based on the potential and threats of an area that can be maximized for development, including Karangpatihan village which has natural, cultural, social potential, as well as disaster threats that can threaten at any time. This study aims to create an ideal regional planning for a village. in this study a descriptive qualitative type is used through data collection which is then interpreted. Karangpatihan village has the potential for natural tourism and agro-tourism in the form of Mount Beruk and orange groves. In addition to natural tourism in Karangpatihan village there are also various kinds of MSMEs, culture, religion, events and culinary. The MSMEs include ciprat batik, catfish cultivation, blendet satay, animal husbandry, furniture. Effective management and synergy between actors are needed to optimize the results.
