A total of 60 4th semester students at Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah State Islamic University Tulungagung participated in this study. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test of listening skills. The results of the study showed a significant improvement in students' listening skills after being given pre-test and post-test-based teaching. These findings show that pre-test and post-test strategies are effective in improving students' listening skills.
