About the Journal
Health Sciences Journal (HSJ) is a scientific journal published by the Faculty of Health Sciences, Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo, Indonesia, in collaboration with the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM).
Focus and Scope
This journal focuses on the field of health sciences, specifically on Nursing and Midwifery. The journal aims to disseminate scientific works that contribute to the development of health knowledge, nursing practice, and midwifery care.
Peer Review Process
Articles published in this journal originate from student final projects that have undergone an evaluation and review process by three examiners during the final examination. The process is as follows:
- The author submits an article that has been approved by three examiners/reviewers and includes proof of plagiarism checking.
- The submitted article is screened and selected by the editorial team of the journal.
- Selected articles that meet the journal’s standards are published in Health Sciences Journal.
This process ensures that all published articles have passed an academic review and quality control consistent with university standards.
Publication Frequency
Health Sciences Journal is published biannually, in April and October.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content based on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge and contributes to scientific advancement in health sciences.
Policy of Screening for Plagiarism
All papers submitted to Health Sciences Journal will be screened for plagiarism using Turnitin plagiarism detection software. The editorial team will immediately reject any manuscript found to contain plagiarism or self-plagiarism.
