In an effort to maintain its survival, people try to meet their primary needs, and one of the primary needs is food. The number of fast-food restaurants in Indonesia is causing intense competition in the quality competition and the quality of the products produced. Besides famous for its cultural tourism, Ponorogo City is also famous for its culinary sate tourism which became a family subscription of the palace since the days of President Sukarno to Pak Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. The famous chicken sate  Ponorogo is located in the village of Nologaten which is more commonly known as Sentral Industri Sate  Ponorogo Chicken. Many families in the village are livelihood as a chicken satay maker so people call the village as a gang of satay. Methods of data collection in research are interviews, observation and documentation. Determination technique of informant used is Purposive Sampling.  From the results of research that has been done by researchers can be concluded. Ponorogo Local Government in improving the existence and provide direction and counseling to the local culinary Ponorogo chicken sate industry so that the culinary remains a typical food Ponorogo regency has also done delivery and counseling. Ponorogo. To keep the existence of chicken sate industry following typical food exhibition Ponorogo. In this case to face the competitiveness of consumers who are not inferior to fast food food that is currently often found in Ponorogo because everyone has a taste of each food and also chicken satay Ponorogo is already a typical food Ponorogo.
