Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Komunitas P2L (Pekarangan Pangan Lestari)

Empowerment of rural communities is a problem that is considered capable of solving poverty. The village can be said to be empowered if there is real development. Community empowerment is one way to increase income that will prosper the family and society, especially for KWT “Merak Jaya” women who are in Manuk Village, Siman District, Ponorogo Regency. The purpose of this research is to describe the community-based village community empowerment model at P2L (Pekarangan Pangan Lestari) Manuk village, Siman sub-district, Ponorogo district in improving community welfare. The benefit is at least having food security at the family level. The object of this research is the women of  household 03 / rw 02 Manuk Village. Activities include: 1). Rumah Kebun Bibit (location for planting seedlings) 2) Demonstration plots (demonstration sites and learning places for women of the “Merak Jaya” Farming Women Group (KWT) 3). Planting (use of members' yards). 4). Post Harvest (Harvesting of crops in the demonstration plot and members' house yards). This research is about a community-based village community empowerment model using descriptive qualitative research methods. In this study, it explains how a community (group) can occur later as well as what factors influence it so that its existence can be enjoyed by the community and also local government agencies.
