This type of research uses qualitative research that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observable behavior. As for the approach in this study is a naturalistic approach this term indicates that this performance does occur naturally, as it is, in a normal situation that is not manipulated by circumstances and conditions, emphasizing its description naturally. Protection and security is carried out to protect all potential biodiversity in the protection block, such as the distribution of flora and fauna and animals in it. Protection and security it also carried out for 24 hours by assigning 51 field officers to carry out routine patrols of area security and placement of security posts. An inventory of the potential of Abdul Latief’s great forest area consisting of an inventory of ecosystems, the environment, wild plants and animals, an inventory of the community’s economy and socio-culture. As for some of the results of an inventory of potential areas in Abdul Latief forest park, including the potential for biological and nonbiological socio-economic and cultural potentials of flora and fauna potentials of hot sulfur springs. Fostering and developing the Abdul Latief grand forest park by utilizing traditional blocks for the development of organic coffe and honey bee cultivation. Guidance in the management of Abdul Latief’s grand forest park is carried out throught a partnership model by involving the community from farmer groups and cultivation groups meanwhile, development activities are carried out throught the construction of supporting facilities and infrastructure in the form of construction of guard post management office, villas/ meeting halls, tourist tracking roads, monitoring towers and animal shelters.
