Analisis Manajemen Event Reyog Jazz Ponorogo

Ponorogo district government making an attempts to promote the potential in Ponorogo to be known by the local community, national, or international. One of them by using events, like a Reyog Jazz it’s made for cultural and tourism marketing communication strategy in Ponorogo. Therefore to carry out the event is needed an organizing from start to finish that’s called event management. This research used descriptive qualitative method, where the problems are described systematically and based on the data obtained by direct observation or interviews to who are considered capable of answering the existing problem, like Mr. Agus Setiawan Basuni as a founder WartaJazz, Mrs. Farida Nuraini, S.Sos,MM and Mr. Franky Andrias.M as a staff of Ponorogo tourism office, volunteers, and some people who saw Reyog Jazz. To answer this existing problems Goldblatt theory of event management is used consisting of Research, Design, Planning, Coordination, and Evaluation. The results of this research show how a team plans an event until the implementation. And if we look at it, the Reyog Jazz team has implemented the event management well, althought in it’s implementation there are still some evaluations.
