Pemenuhan Hak Akses Kesehatan bagi Orang dengan ganguan jiwa (ODGJ)

The formulation of the problem in this study is how to fulfill and what factors are the obstacles in fulfilling the right to health access for people with mental disorders in Paringan Village, Jenangan District, Ponorogo Regency? This research use desciptive qualitative approach. Based on field findings, it was concluded that the government had fulfilled the responsibilities required by Article 70 paragraph (1) and Article 77 of the Mental Health Law while at the same time fulfilling the right to access health care for ODGJ by providing and providing mental health services in the form of facilities and infrastructure (health facilities), health services, and health services. mental health from health workers in accordance with mental health service standards and obtain guarantees for the availability of psychopharmaceutical drugs in accordance with the needs of ODGJ. Health services for ODGJ are limited; building facilities, supporting (health equipment), quality of equipment and systems for handling care and special vehicles to deliver ODGJ to the RSJ, Malang, Surabaya or Solo. There is no and incomplete information regarding the patient's condition (cause), wrong public perception of the treatment carried out (thinking that the management of Margo Widodo is taking advantage of the condition and existence of ODGJ for personal material interests or gains). Health workers who are not yet accredited (no education with a special degree related to mental health), limited medicines for ODGJ at prices that are not always affordable for ODGJ families, erroneous understanding of the family regarding the type and amount of medicine that must be taken, the difficulties and reluctance of ODGJs to take the drugs that are available and the lack of patience from supervisors (either from officers or their families) in waiting for ODGJs to take drugs at the appointed time.
