Strategi Pelayanan Publik Pada Masa Pandemi Di Kecamatan Bogor Timur Kota Bogor

The world is experiencing problems with the emergence of the Covid-19 Pandemic which has had a significant impact on world change. Since the announcement of positive cases on March 2, 2020, the government has stepped up steps in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic, starting from limiting social relations (social distancing), to calling for work from home. Therefore there needs to be a special strategy in public services. This study aims to determine the Public Service Strategy during the Covid-19 Pandemic in East Bogor District, Bogor City. The method used is descriptive qualitative using observation and interviews. The results showed that the Public Service Strategy during the Covid-19 Pandemic in East Bogor District, Bogor City was forced to make innovations in providing services to other parties. Whereas previously interaction was more often in the form of face-to-face, now the public is more familiar with the use of digital networks. However, the reality in the field is not all institutions or agencies are ready to innovate without compromising the quality of public services. There are many obstacles faced by institutions, especially those with many branches in the regions, such as limited infrastructure and people who are still not technologically literate. Even though it feels difficult to apply in all regions of Indonesia, digital-based public services must be applied immediately for the convenience of the community in the Covid-19 era.
