Abstract

Organizational communication strategy in preventing burnout in PTPN IV Regional II Employees. This research is motivated by issues related to mental health which are the main focus in the industry. Many workers often face mental health problems in the workplace. Mental health problems in the workplace not only affect individuals, but also affect the productivity and overall well-being of the organization. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze concrete steps that can be taken by management in implementing effective communication strategies, with a primary focus on preventing burnout among employees. This study uses Goldhaber's organizational communication theory. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that open and transparent internal communication, employee performance appreciation, positive and collaborative relationships, and the implementation of programs that support employee welfare have a crucial role in preventing burnout. This study concluded that open and transparent internal communication, sincere and timely appreciation, positive and collaborative relationships, and relevant and accessible welfare programs are effective in preventing burnout in the Public Relations Division of PTPN IV Regional II. Continuous efforts are needed to improve the effectiveness of communication strategies in verbal appreciation and welfare programs to prevent burnout more comprehensively.
