Pengembangan Destinasi Wisata Lembah Senyum berbasis Potensi Lokal

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the development of the tourism potential of the Lembah Senyum Kali Wasi in Kampung Apenas, Welesi District, Jayawijaya Regency. This study employs the SWOT analysis framework, with the following indicators: Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats. The population consisted of 16 people. The data analysis employed was a scoring-based analysis. As this was a saturated descriptive study, the sample size for this research was 16 people. The results of the data analysis show that the development of the tourism potential of Lembah Senyum Kali Wasi in Apenas Village, Welesi District, Jayawijaya Regency, achieved a score of 48.5, which is classified as ‘very good’. These results were derived from the indicators: Strengths (Strength) scored 48.33 (very good), Weaknesses (Weakness) scored 50.67 (very good), Opportunities (Opportunity) scored 46.5 (very good), and Threats (Threats) scored 48.5 (good).
