Implementasi Program Sistem Otomasi Perpustakaan dalam Peningkatan Kualitas Pelayanan Perpustakaan pada Dinas Perpustakaan dan Arsip Kota Bandar Lampung

Abstrak

The implementation of an automated library system is very important in improving the quality of library services. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the automated library system in improving the efficiency and accuracy of library operations at the Bandar Lampung City Library. This research employs a qualitative data analysis approach. The findings indicate that the automated system has a significant impact. reduced the time spent on cataloging and checking out books, thus increasing productivity and efficiency among Bandar Lamoung City Library staff. In addition, the system also improved book recording accuracy, reduced errors, and improved the overall quality of library services. This research also highlights the importance of user training and support to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of automated systems. The results of this study have significant implications for the management of Bandar Lampung City Library, the need to integrate technology into library operations to improve the quality of services provided to users is a major point of emphasis for Bandar Lampung City Library.
