Abstrak

Illegal parking is a prevalent occurrence on highways, posing a persistent challenge for local governments. This issue not only contributes to traffic congestion but also hampers the effective utilization of land designated for pedestrian activities. Bandung, being one of the most densely populated cities, is particularly affected by a significant number of instances of illegal parking.Through the title that has been described above, the researcher explains the micro related aspects taken to answer the research, namely: Research, Planning, Execute, Evaluation, and Report. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research. This study collected data through in-depth interviews, non-participant observation, and documentation. Purposive sampling was used to collect key and supporting informants. member check and triangulation assess the validity of the data. Data analysis includes data collection, reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study of the Bandung City Transportation Service's Simdek program strategy in controlling illegal parking were researched, planned, implemented, evaluated, and reported. In this regard, what was obtained was that the Bandung City Transportation Service carried out a campaign through social media and outreach to red light intersections, educating the public regarding the Simdek program which will be operated in the City of Bandung.
