Implementasi Program Tahfidz dalam Meningkatkan Motivasi Menghafal Al-Qur’an (Studi Komparatif di Pondok Pesantren Wali Songo Ngabar Dan Pondok Pesantren Darul Fikri Bringin Ponorogo)

Abstract


This research aims to determine the concept, implementation, and implications of the tahfidz program in increasing the motivation to memorize the Al-Qur'an in Wali Songo Ngabar Islamic Boarding School and Darul Fikri Bringin Ponorogo Islamic Boarding School. This research uses a descriptive comparative method with a qualitative research type. The results obtained in this research are: (1) about the concept; the ustadz who was asked to be responsible for the tahfidz program always coordinates with stakeholders related to the preparation of the activities of the tahfidz program. (2) Regarding the implementation; Wali Songo Ngabar Islamic Boarding School carries out recitation activities or ta'lim, tahfidz graduation, comparative studies, inviting motivators, giving scholarships to the sixth-grade students who were able to memorize all 30 chapters of the Qur'an. Meanwhile, Darul Fikri Bringin Islamic Boarding School gave explanations to the new students in advance about the virtues of memorizing the Al-Qur'an. Then the students' memorization acquisition for one week will be tested. Then they were required to memorize 6 chapters of the Al-Qur'an as a graduation requirement. (3) About implications; it has a very significant impact on students and institutions, where the students have increased in terms of memorization, morals, and intelligence. The boarding school institutions are increasingly getting supports from the community both inside and outside the region.
