This study aims to describe and analyze in depth the management of the boarding school in the formation of attitudes of self-reliance of students in the Boarding School Roudlotut Tholibin Carangrejo. It will begin with the planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating of the program and work its way through to the formation of these attitudes. This research uses a qualitative field method. Techniques for gathering data include interviews, observation, and documentation. An interactive model is used for the data analysis, which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and a conclusion. investigation into the reliability of triangulation and data persistence observation techniques. The findings demonstrated that the program of self-reliance formation for students at the Boarding School Roudlotut Tholibin was managed in four stages: (1) Prior to the implementation of independence programs like meeting procurement and program selection, planning was already in place. The stages of planning include: planning the curriculum, teaching resources, staff, facilities, and infrastructure, as well as the program; ( 2) Despite the fact that there is still a lack of human resources due to the stacked division of tasks and the number of students who follow the activities of the skills in the boarding school, the organization that was implemented with the participation of boarding school elements like the chaplain, coach, instructor, and all other elements to help organize the program of the independence of the students has been running well; ( 3) The program was put into action in stages, with teaching and learning activities, organizational activities for the boarding school's mandatory routine, individual daily activities for students, activity support, and lodge rules for discipline; ( 4) Evaluation of the program—community members, administrators, and caretakers participated in the evaluation of such activities. Any flaws will be taken into consideration for future enhancements.
