CORRECTIONS AND RETRACTION POLICY
ISOQUANT : Jurnal Ekonomi, Manajemen Dan Akuntansi is committed to maintaining the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of the scientific record. In accordance with the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), this journal addresses publication errors and ethical issues through appropriate corrections, statements of concern, or retractions.
Policy Overview
Corrections: For significant errors that do not invalidate the main findings.
Statements of Concern: For unresolved questions about the reliability or integrity of the article.
Retractions: For articles with unacceptable findings or serious ethical violations.
Article Retractions: For manuscripts withdrawn before publication with journal confirmation.
1. Corrections
ISOQUANT publishes corrections when significant errors are identified in a published article. Corrections may address errors caused by the journal or by the authors, provided that the article's main findings and conclusions remain valid. Minor typographical or formatting errors that do not affect the meaning of the article may not require formal notification.
2. Requests for corrections may be submitted by authors or other interested parties to the Editor-in-Chief through the journal's official website. All requests are evaluated by the editorial team, and supporting evidence may be requested before a decision is made.
3. Statement of Concern
A statement of concern may be published when there is substantial question about the reliability or integrity of a published article, but the available evidence is inconclusive or an investigation is ongoing. The journal will update the notice when further information becomes available.
4. Retraction
ISOQUANT may retract a published article when its findings are deemed unreliable due to serious misconduct or ethical violations of research, including fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, duplicate publication, unethical research practices, or serious violations of publication ethics.
Retraction may be initiated by the author, the editorial team, or by information received from relevant institutions or other parties. The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision after evaluating the available evidence and giving the author an opportunity to respond.
The retraction notice will explain the reasons for the retraction and remain publicly accessible. The original article will be clearly marked as retracted and linked to the notice to maintain transparency and protect the scientific record.
5. Article Withdrawal
Authors who wish to withdraw a manuscript before publication must submit a written request to the editorial team, explaining the reasons for withdrawal. Withdrawals are only valid after confirmation from the journal. Published articles cannot be withdrawn, but they can be corrected or retracted if justified.
6. Editorial Procedures and Appeals
All requests for corrections and retractions are assessed fairly, objectively, and confidentially. The journal distinguishes honest errors from intentional misconduct and may consult with independent experts or the authors' institutions if necessary. Authors are given the opportunity to respond to concerns before a final decision is made.
Corrections, statements of concern, and retraction notices are published transparently and linked to the original article where applicable. The journal maintains appropriate records and updates publication metadata and relevant indexing services as necessary.
