Peer Review Process
Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to Isoquant: Journal of Economics, Management, and Accounting undergo a double-blind peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, academic rigor, and relevance of the published research.
Upon submission, each manuscript is initially screened by the editorial team to assess its alignment with the journal’s aims and scope, the relevance of its content, its originality, the appropriateness of its research methodology, and its compliance with the journal’s submission and formatting guidelines. Manuscripts that do not meet the journal’s initial requirements may be returned to the authors for revision or declined at this stage.
Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial screening are subsequently evaluated through a double-blind peer-review process, in which the identities of both the authors and the reviewers remain confidential. Reviewers assess the manuscript’s theoretical contribution, methodological soundness, validity of the findings, quality of the discussion, and significance for the fields of economics, management, and accounting.
Based on the reviewers’ comments and recommendations, the editor makes a decision regarding the manuscript, which may include acceptance, acceptance subject to minor revisions, a request for major revisions and resubmission, or rejection. When revisions are required, the manuscript is returned to the authors for improvement in accordance with the reviewers’ comments and the journal’s publication standards. Revised manuscripts may be sent back to the reviewers for further evaluation, as necessary.
The editorial team evaluates the revised manuscript and considers the authors’ responses to the reviewers’ comments before making a final editorial decision. The decision is communicated to the corresponding author through the journal’s online submission system.
The Editorial Board of Isoquant: Journal of Economics, Management, and Accounting holds full responsibility for the final decision on the acceptance and publication of manuscripts. All editorial decisions are made based on scholarly merit, relevance to the journal’s scope, methodological rigor, originality, and compliance with publication ethics.
Detailed instructions for authors, including manuscript preparation and submission guidelines, are available on the journal’s website through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.
