TARBAWI: Journal on Islamic Education is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that focuses on the development and dissemination of research and scholarly discourse in the field of Islamic education. The journal provides a platform for researchers, academics, educators, practitioners, and students to publish original research, conceptual studies, and critical reviews addressing contemporary issues in Islamic education.
Rooted in the concept of tarbiyah, TARBAWI promotes an integrated approach to education that combines intellectual development, spiritual values, moral character, cultural wisdom, technological innovation, and social responsibility. The journal welcomes interdisciplinary studies related to Islamic education, curriculum and pedagogy, educational technology, teacher education, educational management, assessment, character education, digital learning, artificial intelligence in education, and other relevant areas.
TARBAWI is committed to upholding academic integrity, research ethics, originality, inclusivity, and scholarly excellence through a rigorous peer-review process. The journal is published by the Faculty of Islamic Studies, Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo, Indonesia, twice a year in April and October.
